Handyman services in Peel Region

Peel takes in Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon — some of the fastest-built housing in Canada, which means whole neighbourhoods hit renovation age at the same time.

Mississauga's housing runs from Port Credit and Streetsville village homes through the huge 1970s–90s subdivisions of Erin Mills and Meadowvale to the condo towers around Square One and the 2000s streets of Churchill Meadows. Brampton pairs Bramalea's 1960s planned sections with the 1990s–2010s growth of Springdale, Fletcher's Meadow and Mount Pleasant, and has one of the largest counts of registered basement second units in Ontario. Caledon is different again: Bolton, Caledon East and Inglewood are small towns and hamlets with rural lots, wells and long fence lines.

For handyman work, that means three very different job lists in one region. The older subdivisions need decks, fences, interior doors and bathroom caulking redone after thirty or forty years; the newer builds need nail-pop repair, door adjustments and first-owner installs once Tarion warranty ends; and the condo towers need mounting, assembly and small in-suite repairs booked around building rules.
