Handyman services in East York

East York is compact and remarkably consistent: street after street of 1940s wartime bungalows and one-and-a-half-storey homes in the Topham Park and O'Connor areas, solid interwar semis through Danforth Village and Pape Village, and Leaside's 1930s–40s brick homes to the west. The big exceptions are Thorncliffe Park and Crescent Town, whose 1960s-era apartment towers house thousands of families, and the newer infill and topped-up homes now appearing on the old bungalow lots.

Small homes built eighty years ago need exactly the kind of work a handyman does: doors planed and rehung as frames shift, plaster cracks patched properly, basement stairs and railings tightened, storm doors and weatherstripping installed before winter.
