What we collect

When you request a quote we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, email, the location of the job, your description of the work, and any photos or videos you attach. We also record basic technical information (such as the page the request came from) to keep the form working and to block spam.

Why we collect it

To quote and arrange your job — that's the purpose, and we stick to it. We contact you about your request using the method you chose. We do not sell your information, and we don't add you to marketing lists without your explicit, separate consent (that's your right under Canada's anti-spam legislation, CASL).

Where it's stored and for how long

Quote requests are stored on Canadian-region cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services, ca-central-1), encrypted at rest. We keep request details for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us so we can honour follow-ups and warranty questions, then delete them.

Who sees it

The people who need it to quote and do your job — our team and, where relevant, the contractor being matched to your request. Each sees what's needed for the work and no more.

Analytics and cookies

We use analytics only with your consent — see the cookie policy. Declining doesn't change anything about how the site or quotes work for you.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email quotes@handymanfirst.ca or write to Azaanex Inc., 5-145 1/2 Church St, Toronto, Ontario M5B 1Y4, and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
