About HandymanFirst.ca

HandymanFirst.ca exists because of a gap everyone in Toronto knows about: it's surprisingly hard to get someone to show up for a small job. Contractors don't want your leaking tap or the cabinet door that won't close. So the list grows — a shelf here, a drywall patch there — and homeowners end up juggling it with a browser full of tabs.

So we built one front door for the whole list. You describe what your home needs — hanging a mirror, patching a wall, assembling furniture, painting a room — and the request goes to people actually suited to that work, with regulated jobs routed to licensed trades where Ontario law requires them. We stick to handyman scope: small-to-medium repairs, installations, assembly and odd jobs, not structural work or full remodels.

We're starting in Toronto and the GTA and we're honest about being new. You won't find invented review counts or "25 years of excellence" claims here. What you will find is a straight process: a free quote, a fair price for the actual job, and work done properly.
