Doing couch removal without wrecking the house takes preparation more than muscle. We measure the piece and the exits first, clear and protect the path — floor runners, padded corners on tight turns — and disassemble what needs it: legs off sofas, doors off cabinets, headboards off frames. Sleeper sofas get their mechanisms removed to lose half the weight. Then it's a controlled carry, not a drag, out to the truck. Where the furniture ends up depends on its condition: donation for the usable, recycling for the metal-heavy, and mattress disposal through the proper channels rather than a fence-side dump.
