Flooring

Flooring work in the GTA splits into two piles: installing new click-together laminate or vinyl plank in a bedroom, basement or condo, and repairing what is already down — scratched or cupped hardwood boards, gaps, and the squeak on the stairs that announces everyone in the house. Older Toronto homes add uneven subfloors that telegraph through cheap installs within a year.

We flatten and prep the subfloor first, leave proper expansion gaps so floating floors do not buckle in summer humidity, and finish edges with matching trim and transitions.
